Pepitas doesn’t collect, store or share any personal information. It has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking.
Your cards are stored only on your device. They are never sent to the developer.
If you enter your own DeepL API key in Settings, the English text on the front of each card you write is sent to DeepL SE so it can be translated. Your API key is sent with each request to identify your DeepL account. DeepL’s handling of that text is governed by DeepL’s privacy policy and the terms of your DeepL account. If you don’t enter a key, nothing is sent.
Your API key is stored in your device’s keychain. It’s never sent anywhere except DeepL.
Portuguese pronunciation uses the speech voices built into iOS, on your device.
Pepitas is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the purchase, and the app doesn’t receive any of your payment or account details.
